Pondering..
Friday, April 24, 2015
Hello my dearest blog that has died for quite a long time due to work.
Its been sucha long time since I even have the time to really sit down and blog about something. Not that anyone would be reading it and caring how my life is now. But things are getting kinda rough lately and I totally have no idea where I should be engaging my rage or temper or emotions at.
Its been stressful still working at the same company with things going on everyday. Things are still piling up everyday at work, I feel that the struggle is real now. True that alot of close friends around me are asking me if its worth it to still be working at the same place. But to be honest, i'm at doubts, I feel that I have this fear inside me, thats why im unsure still if I should still be staying at the same place or move on to somewhere better.
Even for friendship or anything other stuffs that might relate. Its like, the amount of effort I put into something, who would be real enough to be appreciating it in this realistic world now? Everyone is wearing this mask on them when they meet different people, be it your closest friends, colleagues, cilents and all, am I wrong to say that? Not that I doubt my friends and not trust them, but really, just like the sentence: Breaking a trust is easy by a mistake, mending the trust and gaining it back takes hundred years or more, no matter what happens, even if you think that you mend the trust back, trust me, there's still that 0.01% of trust on that anymore.
Unsure if I am PMS-ing now or what but I think im getting super emotional over friendships and all now, something is just wrong and I don't know how to explain it either now. I'm just wondering if I was ever worth fighting for in the friendship from my friend's view?

Pledging for a good cause - SIWW Campaign
Monday, June 23, 2014
- Campaign Advertorial -
Hello, I’m Back in Sunny island, Singapore!
If you have been following me on Instagram,
Twitter or Facebook, You should have already saw a selfie of myself about
#SIWWPledge photo and asking for everyone’s help to like the photo to get
donation for the campaign right? Familiar anot? If not go to my Instagram now
and check the photo out, LIKE IT TOO OKAY! Haha
Attended Singapore International Water Week
(SIWW) Pledge event last Saturday at Orchard road straight after I just came
back from Holiday, KOREA! Damn shag but yet I still turned up to support the
event and since It is was for a good cause as well, why not right? Also no harm at all since it is for charity.
Anyway before I even talk about the event, do
you all know what Singapore
International Water Week is about?
About Singapore International Water Week
In conjunction with the Singapore International Water
Week 2014, SIWW and seven of its founding sponsors are raising money for Water.org
through #SIWWPledge.
The first of its kind in the global water space, this
movement was introduced as part of SIWW's goal to rally the global community
towards finding innovative and sustainable technological and financial solutions
to meet safe water and sanitation needs globally
The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW)
is the global platform to share and co- create innovative water solutions.
Comprising the Water Leaders Summit, Water Convention, Water Expo, Business
Forums, Industrial Water Solutions Forum and TechXchange, it culminates in the
presentation of the Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize, a prestigious international water
award to recognize outstanding contributions towards solving global water
problems. SIWW 2014 will feature discussions on four themes, namely: Municipal
Water, Industrial Water, Integrated City-Environment-Water and Future of Water.
The sixth Singapore International Water Week will be held from 1st to 5th June
2014, in conjunction with the World Cities Summit and CleanEnviro Summit
Singapore. For more information, please visit their website at www.siww.com.sg/
Okay, Shall stop being so draggy and get back
to the Event with pretty photos.
So I went down
to the event as written below with the details of location and together with 2 other
bloggers we went around garnering pledges.
Date: 14 June 2014, Saturday
Time: 2pm – 5pm
Venue: Orchard ION,
Colourful Man Statue
The Fans that came to support Peishi.
So went on with other 2 bloggers and went around to ask for the
public to take selfie with us and make pledges.
Seems like It's easy to get people
to take photo/selfie with us eh? Actually, not really, some people really do
reject us straight even before we even ask them or tell them what the campaign
was about. It’s only the start so we can’t give up just like that
right?
Yay, approaching people without fear and
ask them for photos.
Lets not forget, finding angmos would
be the best public audience already and why? Cause they would obviously give
you a few second of their time to listen to what we actually wanna tell them
and help out if they can at any cost (Most of the time).
Yups, and this 2 pretty girls said: “THAT’S WHY WE LOVE ASIANS!”
And we approach this cute family of 4 which they said they
would like to have individual photos since 1 photo is $1 donated. YAY!
The brother is so cute that most of the people just wanted
to take photo with him.
Oh right, Not forgetting his dad as well.
HEHE
I Just had to, its 1 stone kill 2 birds here, just take lah
also don’t need pay them to take photo though they not celebrities. HAHAHA
Yups, and of cos,
back to fanboys willing to help out and take photo cos it’s with Peishi. HAHAHAHA.
One of the helper’s classmate was around the corner so they
took a photo as well.
This boy was
like, he kept looking at us, so we approach him and said that he damn swag want
to help us out since you are looking great today? So Angie took a photo with
him too.
So I took with
the friend/sister IDK their relationship.
Happy couple here. HEHE
Some pretty girls with Valentine.
This Angmo
was damn funny when we approach him for a photo pledge, he asked us for a small
favour if he took a photo with us, den he wanna take self protraits of us as
well, So I said OK, since its just a photo and cause he said my contacts were
pretty in blue, suit the water theme. :x
Walking around Orchard road asking people,
getting rejected and all, but its gonna be the end of the whole event already
so we quickly went asking around and they asked me why I dare to even approach
people without feeling afraid and can persuade some people so easier, den they
ask me if I did sales before. HAHAHA, Yea, I do sales before and events so I
kinda don’t mind approaching people, like there’s no harm trying what.
Walked all the way back to ION Orchard and
so we approach the people who just finish their Zumba dance.
These guys were
like okay, take 1 group one den take individual one okay. HAHAHA
Continue finding
people for photos…
And before we end
our work at 5pm, took with this bunch of smokers since they look very friendly
to be approach as well.
And took a photo with this YOG mascot as well.
Ended it off with
photos taken with Valentine and Angie as well, I had fun that
day with the bloggers.
Last but not least, I would like to thank Nuffnang for inviting me to
participate in this campaign to help raise pledges and awareness to the public.
The good news is all the bloggers who were down at Bugis and Orchard Road met
up and interacted with nearly 1000 people! Yippeeeee!! We managed to reach a
target of 40,000 pledges ($40,000), 15 days earlier than expected!
Yet this doesn’t mean we stop right here okay, everyone still can do a
part to continue to take the pledge to support this cause and try to raise more
pledges as possible to spread awareness of water issues. (Don’t worry no money
involved just help to spread awareness, okay? )
And Check out this Video
about #SIWWPledge - Message from the sponsors & beneficiary:
I would like to thank all the sponsors and organisers for raising the money as well and those
that help out in this campaign by taking selfies with the bloggers or by themselves to
get people to like it on their Instagram. Thank you my dearest follower for the
support even though it’s not much but still appreciated it a lot.
Water is precious, remember that!
Much of L♥ves,
Zhiying ♥
